“Escape from Islam” Book Signing and Persian Luncheon

On March 22, Jacqueline La Beau, a Bear Creek resident and member of Bear Creek Golf Club, hosted a book signing luncheon at the BCGC for the introduction of the book “Escaping Islam,” authored by Mano Bakh. Mr. Bakh, a former high-ranking officer in the Iranian Navy during the reign of the Shah, was a target on the purge list of the Ayatollah Khomeini’s revolution that deposed the Shah.
